The club recently held a special appreciation program for the corporate sponsors who made the 2001 Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Junior Golf Championship a super success. 105 Children and teens enjoyed a fantastic day of golf while helping to raise over $5,000 towards the club's Tri-County Student/Athlete Scholarship.

In appreciation, Junior Golf Committee members Becky Haselnus, Sonny Andrews, Ralph Hickman and Frank Himelright presented the corporate sponsors with a plaque signifying their support for the tournament. Tournament Chair Becky Haselnus spoke to the club members and guest regarding the importance that sponsors such as those honored played in making both the tournament as well as the student/athelet scholarchips a success. She also thanked the club members for their strong support and willingness to dive in.
